Mili Rughani is a highly accomplished technology and business executive with over 27 years of leadership experience spanning Africa, the United Kingdom, and India. As Director of Vision Africa AI (VAAI) and Managing Director of Craft Silicon Tanzania, she brings a wealth of expertise in digital transformation, strategic partnerships, business development, and product-led growth.

Throughout her distinguished career, Mili has held senior leadership positions with leading global and regional organisations, including Microsoft, where she spent 12 years driving technology adoption and business growth. She has also served in leadership roles at TechnoBrain, Standard Chartered Bank, NIIT, and Aga Khan Health Services, where she was Regional Head of Business Development for East Africa.

Mili is widely recognised for her leadership of major digital platforms in Tanzania, having served as CEO of ZOOM Tanzania and BrighterMonday Tanzania under Ringier One Africa Media (ROAM). In these roles, she successfully led digital innovation initiatives, expanded market reach, and strengthened technology-driven solutions that empowered businesses and individuals alike.

Her academic qualifications include an MBA in Sales and Marketing, a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources, and a Bachelor of Commerce. Combined with her extensive corporate experience, these credentials have enabled her to champion organisational transformation, digital skills development, and sustainable business growth across multiple industries.

A passionate advocate for good corporate governance, Mili serves as a shareholder and director in several organisations, including Craft Silicon Tanzania, Orica Tanzania, Opal Consultancy Limited, and FINSYS Limited. She has also contributed to strategic advisory and board initiatives with institutions such as Strathmore University (Tanzania) and Enablis (Ghana).

Recognised among Tanzania’s Top 50 Women in Management, Mili is deeply committed to women’s empowerment, leadership development, and children's welfare.
